candle safety tips

Before lighting:

  • Trim wick to ¼" for cotton
  • Trim wick about ⅛"–³⁄₁₆" for wood.
  • Keep the wax pool free of debris.
  • Use a sturdy, heat-resistant holder.

  • Use a snuffer to avoid splatter.
  • Never use water to put out a candle.
  • Ensure wick ember is fully out before leaving.
  • Let candle cool completely before moving.
